By using BLNK (the “Service”) at blnkspeed.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What BLNK is

BLNK is a free, browser-based novelty game that measures how many times you blink in 10 seconds using your webcam and produces a slow-motion GIF. It runs entirely in your browser. It is for entertainment only and is not a medical, diagnostic, biometric, or identification tool.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BLNK. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Camera and consent

To play, you must grant your browser permission to access your camera. You can revoke this at any time through your browser. The video is processed locally and is not transmitted to any server we control. See our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Don't use BLNK to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Don't point your camera at anyone who has not consented to being filmed.
• Don't attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or overload the Service in ways that interfere with normal operation.
• Don't use the Service to violate any law or any third party's rights.

Duels

Duels establish a direct peer-to-peer WebRTC connection between two players using manual code exchange. Anything you say, do, or show on camera during a Duel is between you and the other peer. We have no visibility into Duel content and cannot recover, moderate, or mediate it. Only Duel with people you trust.

User-generated content

The slow-motion GIFs BLNK produces are created on your device using your own webcam footage. You own that content. If you choose to share it elsewhere, that is your decision and your responsibility.

Leaderboard

BLNK displays a global leaderboard for visual flavor. It is not a real-time, authoritative ranking of all players and should not be relied on as such. We may change, freeze, or remove the leaderboard at any time.

Intellectual property

The BLNK name, wordmark, design, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Third-party libraries used by BLNK (such as MediaPipe Tasks Vision and Google Fonts) remain the property of their owners and are governed by their own licenses.

No warranty

BLNK is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Blink counts and GIFs are best-effort outputs of a consumer-grade computer-vision model and may be wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD $50.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. You may stop using BLNK at any time by closing the tab.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of BLNK after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of BLNK resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
